The Phone-call: I learn Christine is Pregnant!
Friday, May 27th 2005 at 2:45 Christine calls me crying, she says the Doctor would like to see her again, that it's necessary she get down to the office by 4:00 p.m. We had already been at the Doctor's office that morning at 7:15 for the blood test, I figured the results were inconclusive.
She says that the maternity clothes we had picked out together, we would have to keep! Now, you have to understand that she was calling on her cell phone to my cell phone and the reception was poor.
At this point, I am confused...is she or isn't she?
It turns out that she is crying because she is over-whelmed and it is POSITIVE! She has to go back to the Doctor's office for an additional prescription.
I tell her I love her very much and that we finally did it after trying for years!
P.S. We plan to announce it at Father's Day, but we thought we would announce it to the blogging community first; we had to tell someone!
